The humanitarian crisis which has unfolded in last few months in the Rakhine State of Myanmar has pushed more than half a million refugees into Bangladesh, an impoverished nation by itself. The world has witnessed the horrific plight of women and children as they trkeed through the rugged mountains to find a place of comfort. Bangladesh government and its army has been helping the refugees and has started allowing other organizations to work under Army supervision. Buet87 Foundation feels an obligation to support the humanitarian effort in this regard done by different NGO’s to provide food, shelter and hygienic needs of these refugees. We have chosen initially to work with two such organizations, BDesh Foundation, a Virginia based Charity Organization and Biddyanondo of Bangladesh.

They are providing food to the refugees, specially milk to the children lot of whom have no parents. They have provided daily 3000+ cooked meals, 8000+ packets dry food, 400+ milk servings and medical support to 70+ patients daily but had to cut down the support to half due to fund constraint.
