| Thank you for visiting BUET87 website. We are a group of Engineers and Architects from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) who started the BUET classes on Aug 10, 1988 in session 1987-88. We have come together to form a charitable organization, BUET 87 Foundation to help change millions of lives of poor people in Bangladesh and around the world. BUET 87 Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in the state of Arizona, USA and exempt from Federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to BUET 87 Foundation are deductible under section 170 of the code.
The BUET87 Foundation, Bangladesh is registered under Social Welfare Act of Bangladesh Government. BUET 87 Foundation is working on different projects in Bangladesh on Education, Health, Science and Technology, Research, Social and Development work etc. It is quite literally true to say that BUET87 is not anything new. We have been maintaining a yahoo group since 1996. And from time to time we have helped many lives through other charity organizations. We have always felt that we needed to build our own charity organization so that we can get more involved in the charitable activities. We are 500 brilliant engineers and architects and we believe that we can together do something big. This is our first endeavor. We ask everybody to donate to different projects of our foundation so that we can keep on helping young children get proper education and help poor to change their lives. |
